New Graduate Student Orientation
Monday, August 20th -- 9:15am at University Hall
Newly admitted graduate students are requested to attend this orientation session, sponsored by the Graduate School and the Council of Graduate Students, which will give you all the tools you'll need to be successful at the University. Reception and refreshments will be outside of University Hall at 9:15am. Program will begin at 9:45am in 100 Independence Hall. University Resources will also be available from 11:00am until 12:30pm.
Student Involvement Fair and President's Barbeque
Monday, August 20th -- 4:00pm-8:00pm on the Oval
Looking for an organization or two to get involved with? This is the place to find them! Grab a bite of free food on the Oval and check out the graduate & professional student organization section at the Involvement Fair. Members of grad and professional organizations will be on hand to chat with you about ways you can get involved.
Buck-i-Frenzy
Tuesday, August 21st -- 11:00am to 4:00pm at the RPAC
Buck-i-Frenzy is a lifestyle festival held in and around the Recreation and Physical Activities Center (RPAC). Sample the latest products, services, fashions, sounds, technology, and tastes from selected local and national companies. Admission is free of charge, and you won't believe what these businesses have to offer!
OUAB Welcome Week Concert
Thursday, August 23rd -- 6:00pm on the South Oval
The Ohio Union Activities Board presents its annual Welcome Week concert featuring Big Sean with 2 Chainz and Krewella! This is a private show for Ohio State students with a valid BuckID.
Grad/Prof Welcome Party
Friday, August 24th -- 5:30pm-8:30pm at the Faculty Club
Join fellow graduate and professional students at the annual fall welcome picnic. Enjoy free food, cash bar, and corn hole with music provided by a DJ. Graduate/Professional students may bring a non-student guest. The event is sponsored by the Council of Graduate Students, the Inter-Professional Council, and the Ohio Union Activities Board (OUAB).
