Welcome Week Updates
We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to campus for autumn semester! Planning for Welcome Week is underway and we will be making plans based on guidance from state and local health authorities and recommendations from the safe campus and scientific advisory subgroup of the university’s COVID-19 transition task force. Following are a few updates about some of our larger events:
- The Student Involvement Fair will transition to a virtual event on Sunday, August 23 from 4-7 p.m. The virtual event will give student organizations and students opportunities to connect, chat live and be matched based on interest. Student orgs and campus departments can register at http://go.osu.edu/SIFair through July 19.
- The Columbus Welcome will not take place in person, rather videos and information will be shared in a variety of ways and formats.
- Buck-i-Frenzy for 2020 will not take place. We look forward to coming back in 2021!
- Community Commitment will transition to a virtual event on Saturday, August 29 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Watch for more information about how to get involved.
Check back for more updates as plans are finalized for other events.
