Join over 1,000 Buckeyes in making Saturday, August 27th a day you will not forget! Become connected to the Columbus community at Pay It Forward’s 20th Annual Community Commitment, one of the largest single-day community service events held on a college campus! Since 1997, Buckeyes have started the new school year by coming together to serve the Columbus community. After meeting in the Ohio Union, students travel to one of many agencies across Columbus where they serve alongside one another. Past projects have included working at COSI, local food pantries, the Columbus Zoo, and at a variety of other nonprofit agencies! We look forward to serving with you!

What Do You Need To Know? -Volunteers will be taken on a first come, first serve basis -Breakfast and lunch will be provided -Bus transportation will take you to and from a community agency -Please wear closed-toe shoes & comfortable clothing -Free t-shirt provided! Group Information: Community Commitment is a fantastic opportunity for groups (student organizations, scholars group, etc.) on campus to work together to serve Columbus. There is no pre-registration needed to participate as a group! Please arrive with your entire group to the Ohio Union by 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 27. Potter Plaza (outside of the Ohio Union) will be available for groups to meet up prior to entering the registration line.
